Contest Update
Quick update on the contest ending Friday, 3/14. For those that haven’t already read about it, I will be giving away $50 on Friday. To be eligible, all you need to do is sign up for my email feed and end up in the top 5 on my top commentators list. I will put those 5 names in a hat and draw the winner at 5:00 pm CST and announce the winner no later than 5:30 CST. You have the option of being paid by PayPal or money order.
Bonus: Anyone that writes a post about my contest and sends me the link in this post’s comments will have their blog added to my blogroll for the rest of the month!

Hmmm…good question. You must not even be on your 6th beer yet! If there is a tie for 5th, anyone in the fifth spot will get their name in the hat. Yeah, Anca is way ahead of the pack but remember, every name in the hat has an equal chance.

Nate, Siva came with this idea to create a small network of bloggers (that can become big, why not), and he just made a group on Ning. It seems a good idea that can benefit all of us.

Have a looks see now. I took the page buttons off the top completely. Im still going to do some rearranging on my side bars and probably put an original picture in the header, so its still a rough draft. I may put the page buttons under it, so people can find my funny videos section easy. I like the theme overall though.

Great idea Nate!I like the idea of giving contests,which is giving you mad results.But what about the people who are trying to post 6 months of material before focusing on traffic? The ones you have inspired,and then alienated? I have been blessed with a stable IT job with the government,but I still feel for you for losing your job because I cannot imagine what you are going through.But try not to alienate the first subscribers to your site, by making a contest with your blogroll.I was anticipating putting you as a part of mine without any pre-conditions.But I still look up to ya, even though i will be going through this in 6 months.Nice work,and I am impressed.

That’s Ok, Rose. I really am not actively posting either (shame of me), because I was so busy lately, with work, the house, and spending lots of time with my blog, learning the basic codes, twicking it, writing, commenting…i still think the idea has good potential, as long as the people there will work hard to reach new audiences.
